Design director & Founding partner

More than 15 years of digital and marketing experience as creative director and art director for several advertising agencies and tv stations in Europe and North America. Clients include: Activision / BBDO / Blizzard / Coca Cola / Cooke Optics / Cirque du Soleil / Mattel / McCann / Microsoft /  Panasonic / Ubisoft.

With a master degree in philosophy and art, he gained considerable exposure in magazines, books and in exhibitions, with an emphasis on creative direction, art direction, graphic design, motion graphics, web design, photography and cinema.

Johnny Macri
Design director & Founding partner

Johnny has worked in the design & advertising world for more than 15 years. Taking on the role of Creative Director at Sid Lee (Montréal & Toronto), Tuxedo, Mattel and most recently at Cirque du Soleil as well as Art Director for OrangeTango. Clients include: Baxter of California / Dell / L’Oréal / McGill University / Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal / Musée McCord / Red Bull / Rona / SAQ / SportChek.

Forging together his strong leadership, entrepreneurial and design skills allows him to provide clients with an integrative, multi-disciplinary approach, whether it be for branding, strategy, marketing, design or research. Bridging both business and art continues to play an important part in his success.

Approach

DARE TO BE MADE is not for everyone. Values come first, both ours and those of our clients. Our approach includes walking in our client’s shoes, truly understanding who they are, what they are passionate about and why they do what they do. The opposite is also true; only then can meaningful partnerships begin to take place.

Process

Our process is simple. Each and every mandate is broken down into four clear & distinct stages — research, creative strategy, creative development and execution; each phase building upon the next.

What we do

We work in all possible media and fields, bringing in outside talent and technologies when necessary. Whether graphic design, branding, digital, books, exhibitions, video or photography; we provide solid, quality and meaningful solutions to every project we take on.

Who we work with

We like to work with clients both big and small. Whether international or just around the corner, the size of the company has very little importance to us. Working with clients who share the same values and passion for the work they do is what we are seeking.
